Dan began psychic and meditative practices at a young age. A series of profound experiences led him from the San Francisco Bay Area to Austin, Texas, where he studied Alchemy. In 1992, he began specializing in geomancy — the subtle energies of the Earth. He travels extensively, researches sacred sites, and corresponds with vortex and earth mysteries researchers worldwide.

Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography in 2001. He is the author of several books on vortexes and earth energies, including American Ley Lines, Vortex Field Guide: North America, US Vortexes 54 Miles Wide, and Stonehenge Gardening Tips.
